    CYBERSECURITY AWARENESS MONTH CONTEST

    As October is designated as Cybersecurity Awareness Month, the District hosted its first Cybersecurity Awareness Month Poster and Video Contest. Open to scholars at all grade levels, the competition was designed to promote the safe and secure use of the internet while encouraging students to make better decisions when posting pictures, videos, and personal information online.

    SUNSET PARK LEADER, TEACHERS GET CREAMED

    The sweet centerpiece of Friday’s Family Fall Festival at Sunset Park Elementary was the tossing of plates of whipped cream at the administrators and educators students' paid a quarter per vote to place in the “hot seat.” At the top of the “hit list” was popular third grade teacher Schyler Kline, who led all vote getters with 91. Also earning a solid share of votes were Lindsey Denney (82), Derek Flowers (67) and Alicia Raebel (62.) Barely making the cut was Principal John Hull, with 24 votes.
