Parker Vecellio, a sixth grader at Nettie S. Freed Expeditionary School, is a member of the Littleton-based KRIVO Elite Girls Hockey team.
Over the weekend, Parker and her team participated in the U12AA hockey championship in Hershey, Pennsylvania. With six wins against no losses, the KRIVO Elite Girls Hockey team claimed the National Championship with a 4-1 win over the Utica Junior Comets in the final.
The national title is the team's second straight.
Parker is the daughter of Shawn and Nicole Vecellio.
