A MESSAGE FROM SUPERINTENDENT KIMZEY TO D60 CUSTODIANS
I would like to formally wish our awesome D60 Custodians a happy National Custodians Day!
Your expert care, persevering commitment, and dedication to ensuring our students, staff, and families have a safe, welcoming environment is inspiring and unparalleled.
You brave harsh weather conditions as you ensure that buildings are safe and ready for our scholars and staff when inclement weather hits. You creatively solve problems in real time to ensure teaching and learning can continue, even when faced with challenging situations in buildings arise. You take care each day to ensure the building under your care is “just so” so that scholars, staff, and families feel pride in their schools. And you often are that friendly, comforting staff member whom our scholars and staff members look to for encouragement and support every day.
In short, our district could not function without your critical care and expertise. Our scholars could not Be Present and Be Powerful without YOU!
On behalf of our entire district and community, with a heart filled with gratitude, thank you for being there for us, no matter the conditions. We appreciate YOU!
