Welcome Back To School

Dear Heritage Families,

I hope you are enjoying the last couple weeks of your summer break! Please see the friendly reminders and important dates below, as you begin to plan for the 21-22 school year.

• K-5 School Start Day: Monday, August 16th for grades K-5. August 16th will be a full day. Class lists will be posted in the lobby windows on Thursday afternoon at 4pm. Exterior room numbers will be noted so students know where to line up on the first day. 
• K-5 School Start Time: 7:45 am. For the safety of our students, please do not drop children off earlier than 7:40 am. Students will not be permitted to play on the playground during morning arrival. Staff supervision starts at 7:40. Students should arrive at 7:40 and line up outside their classroom door. 
• K-5 School End Time: 3:05 pm
• Pre-K Start Date: Wednesday, August 25th (More information on Pre-K will come at a later date)

 

• Open House: Our open house will be Thursday, August 26th from 5:00-6:30. Please join us to meet your child’s teacher and learn about classroom expectations and learning opportunities for the 2021-2022 school year. 

 

• School Supplies: Please visit the school website for your class supply list: https://www.pueblod60.org/hertiage               
• EVERY FAMILY MUST COMPLETE: FAMILY ECONOMIC SURVEY.
• COVID Protocol Updates: The D60 Office of Communications will post a Return to Learn Plan on the district's website on Thursday, August 5. Please be aware that the D60 Return to Learn plan takes guidance from local, state and federal authorities into consideration, and at times, that guidance may change. The D60 plan will remain flexible, and we may adapt our Return to Learn plan as needed. We will update our students, families and staff with any changes to the document.
