On September 11, the District hosted a Parent and Family Academy on the topic of Using Infinite Campus to Support Student Success. Through this session, parents and families learned how to use the key options available in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal such as checking attendance, grades, assignments, and schedules.

2024 INITIAL PERFORMANCE FRAMEWORKS RELEASED
The Colorado Department of Education has released preliminary 2024 District and School Performance Frameworks, based on achievement and growth on state assessments as well as post secondary measures. School Performance Frameworks are released annually as part of the accountability system for schools and districts.

PARENT AND FAMILY ACADEMY NIGHT: INFINITE CAMPUS
Our first Parent and Family Academy of the school year will focus on navigating Infinite Campus. It will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11 at the D60 Administration Office (315 W 11th Street). At the event you will learn how to sign in to, or sign up for, a parent Infinite Campus account and learn how to check grades and attendance and access important information.

DISTRICT BEGINS PLANNING FOR STREAM IMPLEMENTATION
In May 2024, Pueblo District 60 received a five-year $15 million federal Magnet Schools Assistance Program (MSAP) grant to Implement high-quality STREAM programming (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) driven by Project Based Learning at several of its schools.

When the fall sports season at historic Dutch Clark Stadium opens Thursday, August 22 (Pueblo East "Eagle Empire" vs. Centennial High School in soccer) and Friday, August 23 (East hosting Fort Morgan in football) the athletes will be competing on brand-new turf.

The Pueblo Summer Musical – the product of a long-standing partnership between District 60 and Pueblo Parks and Recreation – returns to the Sangre de Cristo Arts & Conference Center Saturday and Sunday (2 p.m.) and continuing July 15-18 (7 p.m.)
