Clean Water in Schools
In June, Governor Jared Polis signed the Clean Water in Schools and Child Care Centers law, which requires all public schools to sample their drinking water for lead and take mitigative action when results show levels of lead at or above 4.5 parts per billion.

DISCOVERY DAYS AT Heritage Elementary School-District 60
On this go-around, the youngsters enjoyed a visit from a resident of the Pueblo Zoo (armadillo), learned some neat moves courtesy of the Central dance team, experimented with robots, worked with LEGOs, and created a tasty chocolate pudding-based dessert in a cooking class.
