How do I enroll or transfer my child(ren) to the new online school?
- There is a link on the district’s front page and the school’s new website that include information about this process. Guardians should visit https://www.pueblod60.org/ and click on the link that appears at the top of the webpage.
- Registration and transfer requests are completed through Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
- If families need additional technical support, they can call the registration desk at (719) 253-6014 or email registration@pueblod60.org.

How long would my child need to stay enrolled in D60 Online?
- We are asking for a minimum of a one-year commitment to provide consistency.
- D60 Online is a new district school option for D60 families beginning in the 2021-2022 school year.

What is the curriculum my child will be using? What classes are offered?
- D60 Online will use board-adopted Edgenuity as the online curriculum. This is an interactive, standards-aligned resource.
- For 1st-3rd literacy, D60 Online teachers will continue to use board-adopted Wonders curriculum for core instruction. Wonderworks will be utilized for reading intervention support.
- Elementary course offerings will include: Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science and Specials which may include: Art, PE, Social-Emotional Learning and/or Technology
- Middle School course offerings will include: English Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, and Electives which may include: Art, PE, Social-Emotional Learning, and Technology

What does a typical week look like for my child?
- All students will learn virtually from home.
- A majority of online course completion will happen during asynchronous independent work times within the Edgenuity platform.
- Students will follow the same district calendar and the four-day week.
- Students will have opportunities for small group support and open support office hours where they can meet with their teacher to ask questions.
- 1st-5th students will require a parent, guardian, or another adult to serve as a “learning coach” in order to support independent learning.

What if my child wants to participate in clubs or sports?
- All 6th-8th grade students can try out for and participate in extracurricular activities and athletics at their neighborhood school.

What if my child is on an IEP?
- Parents should complete the same transfer request process outlined above. A staff member of the ESS department will reach out to schedule an IEP team meeting to determine if the online learning environment will adequately support your child’s needs as outlined in their IEP.
