  • AARON BRAVO AT HOME IN ATHLETICS/ACTIVITIES DIRECTOR POSITION

    As the District’s new Athletics/Activities Director, Mr. Bravo not only has fulfilled a life-long dream but finds himself in the coveted position of taking not only athletics, but activities such as music and theater, to the next level.

  • 100 NEW TEACHERS GIVEN A WARM WELCOME TO THE DISTRICT

    The 100 teachers, which included Pueblo and Colorado natives as well as Los Angelinos and Houstonians, were greeted by Superintendent Charlotte Macaluso and members of her leadership team as they enjoyed a tasty brisket and chicken meal prepared by the D60 Foodworks staff under the direction of SFE.

  • NEW FOODWORKS MANAGER IN PLACE AS OPERATION CONTINUES WITHOUT INTERRUPTION

    With a pledge to put in place a menu appealing to children, with a focus on meals made from scratch by the District 60 team already in place, the nationally renowned Southwest Foodservice Excellence is now overseeing D60 Foodworks.

  • VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO SERVE ON BOND ADVISORY COMMITTEE

    This 7- to 9-member Committee serves in an advisory capacity, monitoring the expenditure of funds approved by taxpayers through the 2019 bond and then reporting the findings to the D60 Board of Education. This critical service of ensuring that the funds are being spent as directed by the bond ballot language is intended to provide a high level of accountability to the citizen taxpayers of the District.
