    PCC SANTA SELF CARE DAY OFFERS HOLIDAY PICK-ME-UP

    For 100 students from our elementary, middle and high schools, an early Christmas present in the form of a fresh new hairstyle and vibrant nails was bestowed through the generosity of the Pueblo Community College Cosmetology Program and Michelle Garcia, coordinator of House Bill 1451 (Collaborative Management Program.)

    CYBERSECURITY AWARENESS MONTH CONTEST

    As October is designated as Cybersecurity Awareness Month, the District hosted its first Cybersecurity Awareness Month Poster and Video Contest. Open to scholars at all grade levels, the competition was designed to promote the safe and secure use of the internet while encouraging students to make better decisions when posting pictures, videos, and personal information online.

    CENTRAL ALUMNUS MITCHELL MAURO HONORED BY GOVERNOR

    Governor Jared Polis and CiviCo, a nonprofit that cultivates civic-minded leaders, today announced the recipients of the 2022 Colorado Governor’s Citizenship Medals, given to people and organizations who inspire excellence and public service. Mitchell Mauro, a 2022 graduate of Central High School now attending the University of Colorado-Denver, received the Emerging Community Leader Medal.
