Dear Parents,

Young children learn best through play and you can support your child’s learning at home. Play is fun and also provides many opportunities for teaching and learning.

Below are monthly calendars with themes and ideas for activities designed to support your child's individual needs to maintain skill development toward IEP goals.  These activities support several areas of learning including speech-language, early learning (cognitive), social-emotional, self-help, and gross/fine motor skill development. During any of these activities, think about how to coordinate the activity to your child's individual IEP goals.

Please use the attached ideas to get started and to use for inspiration. Remember, you are your child's first and best teacher. Enjoy learning through play with your child!
