The Pueblo School District 60 Superintendent of Schools reports to the Board of Education and provides administrative leadership to a public school district of over 2,400 employees and nearly 18,000 students.
The superintendent is primarily responsible for administering the policies of the Board of Education. The superintendent's responsibilities include overseeing a strategic plan, managing a budget of more than $200 million, driving a comprehensive curriculum to international standards, building and strengthening relationships with parents, and a community of more than 100,000, and representing the school district as the primary spokesperson.

APPLICATIONS FOR OPEN D60 BOARD OF EDUCATION SEAT NOW BEING ACCEPTED
With the recent resignation of District 60 Board of Education member Dr. Matthew Cranswick, the process to fill that seat has been initiated with the adoption of a resolution declaring a vacancy.

P-EBT FOOD ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE
The Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) program is a federal program created to provide food assistance to families with students or young children who had reduced access to meals due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the program was created in April 2020, P-EBT benefits have provided access to healthy and wholesome food to more than 504,440 Colorado children.
