    Dr. Kimzey, as the Pueblo School District 60 Superintendent of Schools, provides instructional and operational leadership to the district, including leading over 2,400 employees who serve approximately 14,000 students.  In her role, Superintendent Kimzey implements the policies of the Board of Education. Her responsibilities include overseeing the district’s strategic plan, managing the district’s budget of more than $200 million, driving the development and implementation of curriculum aligned with Colorado standards that prepares graduates for a “life of purpose and impact,” building and strengthening relationships with families and the Pueblo community of over 100,000 people,  and representing the district as its primary spokesperson.
